Mark Stafford Killed Teal

LEGO Colour 107 , Dark Turquoise or Teal is a lovely colour.

Mark Stafford Killed Teal

Mark’s first set as a LEGO designer, was the Exo-Force Dark Panther. He had the choice of making it in either Purple or Teal, and whichever colour he chose, the other would be cut from the LEGO colour palette.

Obviously he chose purple…so Mark Stafford Killed Teal.

Creating A Monster 12 March 16

The Arvo Brothers Alien Project – complete

24828360476_475da9ced4_o.jpg

My finished model of Arvo Brothers Alien Project, their latest instruction book. At 51cm tall, this is not going to be a desktop buddy. Looks awesome and some very nice shaping techniques and SNOT used by the Arvo Brothers.

Sorry the tail is slightly bent, my bad and nothing to do with the design…I think I just bent it lifting her off the shelf as my cat was very, very interested in her and seemed intent on tripping me up!

The book is available from their website www.arvobrothers.com/

You can see my review on TBB here: www.brothers-brick.com/2016/01/12/alien-project-by-the-ar…

Mr Bean & his Mini

Instructions for the Mini are here:

NB. it was built for looks rather than play as the round 1×1 presses on the wheel if you push it in too far. oops

Classic ET & Elliot Moon Creation

IMG_0317

My take on the classic moment from the movie  ET when Elliot and ET cycle across the face of the moon (thanks to some ET flying abilities).

NB. The ET ‘figure’ is temporary as a custom one from minifigures.com will take his place 🙂

I love that film.

I bought one of the extremely Limited Edition Fairy Brick exclusive sets. I loved that it featured a fully brick-built version of the iconic Fairy Bricks logo.

WARNING. Do not build this set after MIDNIGHT…. Fairy Bricks becomes SCARY BRICKS!!!

It was a bit of a hair-raising experience for Little Brick!

Heathrow Pod Parking Terminal 5 Display 10 Jul 15

Heathrow Pod Parking Terminal 5 Display

Heathrow Pod Parking Terminal 5

A business car park specifically for those flying from Terminal 5. Transfer to the terminal is easy – just call up the new revolutionary Heathrow pod, which takes four to six minutes.

At the moment my Heathrow T5 travel PODs are in the Lego Store at Westfield, Stratford.

The ribbon display does make it harder to take a photograph but I did spot some kids checking out the minifigures and vehicles whilst I was filling a PAB cup.

Thanks to Gary Davis aka Bricks for Brains (www.flickr.com/photos/28901644@N05/) as utilised his POD creation to develop the opened door and minifig sized PODs.
